Inventure Academy celebrates ICSE 2010 results.

It is popularly accepted as a terror- which creates panic among masses, a super villain- whose mere mention steals the smile from faces, a nightmare - which gives sleepless nights to the young and old alike.

It was time for the ICSE results!!. I came to office expecting a grim mood at workplace, but what puzzled me was the confident smiles on the face of many of my colleagues.

``Well, ICSE results today, right? ’’ I remarked to one of my senior colleagues in an attempt to remind her in case she had forgotten, and she replied confidently, ``Yes, and we know our students will make us proud.’’
It was Inventure Academy's first batch of ICSE students, hence not only were the students' hopes riding on these much awaited results - but also the school's! Cakes and sandwiches were ordered by afternoon, as the school confident of our students' performance, wanted to celebrate the occasion with our students and parents together.

To me, it was already a sharp contrast to what I had expected. As the clock ticked 3, almost everyone gravitated around the computers in the administration office to be in the know of the results. The excitement levels were rising and pulses racing as students, parents, teachers along with our Head of School patiently waited around a computer, for the website to download the result of our first enquiry.

`` Oh Wow, I scored 92 in Maths! ’’ exulted Akriti (Bhargava) out of astonishment as she jumped with joy hugging her mother standing closeby. Soon the results for the school were out too. Inventure Academy had secured 100 percent first class results!

Congratulations started pouring in. Much hugging, hand shaking, and back slapping ensued. The team work of faculty, and individual efforts of students was celebrated with creamy exotic cake. It was like a big joint family celebrating an occasion, extending their best wishes to each other.

Amidst the cheers and laughs of the celebration, I realized that this was yet another way in which Inventure Academy is different - it exhibited that no matter what the challenge, a positive, confident, ultra-focused approach is what makes us successful!
