Inventure Academy wins the Titan Genius Kidz Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award



Inventure Academy has won the Titan Genius Kidz Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Award on Feb 27th, 2010. The award was specially instituted to recognize the school’s exceptional performance across all categories of entries from Grades 4-10 at the District, State and National level. The Guests of Honor at the function were Ms. Suparna Mitra, Global Head – Marketing, Titan Industries Ltd and Ms. Meera Raghavan, Maths Advisor.

Dr Natraj, Director of Genius Kidz, acknowledged this achievement by saying, “Inventure Academy is the only school with such a good performance across the board. At the end of the day, it is team work that is important, not individual performances. And this has been proved by their victory.”
This achievement validates what Inventure Academy stands for: Quality education by leveraging the best practices of both traditional and contemporary schools of education. Performance is measured by the student ‘s excellence in academics and co-curricular activities.
A total of 7000 students participated from 113 Schools affiliated to State, CBSE or ISCE boards from Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan for this event. 600 gold and silver medals were given to the winners and runners-up at the school level after the event. 127 district level winners, 24 state level winners and 6 national level winners were awarded Certificates, Trophies, Mementoes, Cash Prizes, etc. in a separate function conducted on Saturday, 27th February, 2010 at JSS Auditorium, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Schools that won individual prizes in the Bangalore urban category included St. Josephs’ Boys School and National Hill View Public School.
“This prestigious award won by the school is testimony to its high educational standards and the effectiveness of the methodologies followed in teaching the students as the exam was a high-level test of application skills.” adds Mr. Saiganesh, proud father of Sanchit, Grade 5.
